Exporting Turbidity Data
From version 2.2 of the SediMeter software, it is possible to Export the turbidity data in the Data view window. To use, make sure the top graph is showing the data that you want to export. Select File -> Export, chose number of decimals and delimiter (such as Tab), and export the file as an ASCII text file that can be read from a database or spreadsheet software.
Note that if you have the conversion factors to convert from FBU to PPM, so you can display the turbidity in PPM units, you can also export as PPM (i.e., sediment weight per volume).
The default setting is that the columns are the sensors from 1 to 36, and the rows are the measurements. The exported file has no headers, but the time stamp is available in the original data export file, which is created using the Save button in the bottom right region of the window.
